Our Dedham, MA Studio will be closing permanently on May 27th. You can still book classes until then below!

Here is some background on my decision:

I want to be honest with you, because you deserve that. I have tried everything I could to make this work (took out more loans, am currently selling my house, negotiated the studio lease terms, spoke to my mentors etc.). But the reality is that I am a single mom, based in Maine - two hours away, and I can no longer stretch myself thin enough to give this studio, and my children, what they each deserve. I need to be more present for my kids, and that has to come first. Running a business without kids is hard enough; add two Baby Booty locations and two kids, and woof, it's a lot. 

Opening this Dedham location holds such a tender place in my heart. I drove back and forth from Maine with my second baby, Beau, when he was just six months old, because I believed so deeply in what we were building here. Growing up in Newton, I have always felt a strong pull to Massachusetts, and I had big dreams of growing Baby Booty into multiple locations with a dream to franchise someday. That vision was real, and it was built on love - love for this community, for postpartum wellness, and for every parent and baby who walked through our doors. I opened Baby Booty Portland in January 2023 and Baby Booty Dedham in November 2023. This was when I told myself to be bold. It was a lot to handle, but I was excited, and for a while it worked! Our team in Dedham has worked hard to be incredible leaders, mentors, and a resource for all of you, and I am forever grateful for their love and attention to every single mom and baby. Thank you, Natalie, Janira, Lindsay, Megan, Kelly, and Christina. If anyone needs the instructor contact info so you can follow them, let me know. I am so proud of them.  Some of the team will continue to teach Zoom classes for Baby Booty, as we do offer these 3-4 times a week and film anywhere! Look for their names on the Portland schedule in June. 

Here is what you need to know about your membership or class pack:

🗓  Members will receive one last bill payment in May. If your final payment is after May 1, you will receive a prorated refund for the time between May 27 and your next billing date. For example: Your May billing date is May 21, you receive a refund for the days May 28- June 17. 

💻 All Class Pack Holders: You have through May 27 to use your remaining classes in studio. After May 27 you can use your credits to join us live on Zoom while also accessing our On Demand library of recorded classes. 
As a reminder, we offer Zoom classes at these times currently Mon 7:45 pm, Tue 11 am, Wed 6:15 am, Wed 7:45 pm.

💻 After you use your credits, we do have a livestream/on-demand membership for $59/month that gives you unlimited access to Zoom classes and our on-demand library.

💪 3-Month or 6-Month Membership Holders: If you purchased a prepaid membership, you will receive a prorated refund for any remaining days on your membership after May 27, unless you'd like to keep the membership for livestream (Zoom) classes. Respond to let me know either way!

🫶🏻 New Client trials can be purchased up until May 1; there will be no refunds for unused classes on a trial.
